How did you like doing a window-shopping workout? Have you tried it?

Now, another very easy workout to do to help you get started with exercising (without feeling like exercising) is simply climbing stairs. This is perfect for you if your house is 3 to 4 levels high. Well, 2 levels high is okay. All you have to do is go up and down the stairs as much as you can.

If you're too lazy to go out to exercise--and your house is perfect for this--then you simply start climbing the stairs. No need to warm up or wear "the right outfit." You can be in your everyday get-up or in your pajamas.

Or, you may be in your school or office uniform or attire. As soon as you come home from work or school, rest for 20 minutes and then start going up and down. It won't feel like exercising; you'd feel just like--well, going up and down the stairs.

Start slowly and then gradually add speed. Then cool down when you're about done by slowly going up and down. You can even invite your spouse to do it with you as you talk about things.

Again, before you do this, consult your medical doctor first.

Another mistake people do when eating fruits is eating them long after peeling their skin. Not many people know this, but all fresh fruits are alkaline, even soir ones. I met one "nutritionist" who thought sour fruits were all purely acidic---just because they were sour.

Take kalamansi for instance. Fresh kalamansi is alkaline. Those who know herbal medicine know this. But make sure you consume it right after slicing it open. If you let it lie open like that for a long time it becomes acidic. Moreover, the Vitamin C in it quickly evaporates. You get nothing but sourness.

So those fruit juices sold in bottles in grocries and malls? You get nothing from them except water, flavor, sugar and synthetic Vitamin C perhaps, which is acidic. If you want to keep fit, an acidic tummy is the last thing you'd want.

How Posture Affects Your Confidence Level

Try it. Make it a habit to stand erect---chest out, stomach in---and make sure you look relaxed and natural doing it. No hint of struggling. How? Well, keep practicing this posture.

And then always lift your chin and look straight ahead with relaxed, rested eyes. Even if you don't feel confident inside, that look will make people think you have it. That look and posture often earn you respect.
