It's a Common Skin Condition, But What Triggers Psoriasis?

qsota.com
Psoriasis is a serious skin problem that alters the life cycle of your skin cells. In summary, it is the rapid build up of extra cells on the skin's surface, causing the formation of thick and silvery scales which are dry and itchy, often showing red patches that can be painful.

Psoriasis sometimes gets better and may disappear but then returns after a while, sometimes looking worse. It is said to be incurable and may even spread across wide areas of the skin. It can thus dampen your self confidence.

Some Vital Info

But there are ways to get some  relief, like cortisone creams (ask your doctor about it) and exposure to gentle sunlight in the early mornings.

It's said to be a common skin condition, so if you're affected remember that lots of other people have it, too--especially those between 15 to 35.

The exact cause isn't certain yet, but the National Psoriasis Foundation in the US said that some 10 percent of Americans can possibly get it through their genes, but only 2 to 3 percent of the 10 percent actually get it. So it's not that rampant. Yet, it poses a real problem to those who do have it.

Psoriasis Trigger

But take note--among the main triggers for psoriasis are too much stress and tension. If you want relief or probable prevention, stay relaxed at all times. Avoid too much stress as much as possible. And exercise regularly to reduce stress and to get you a healthy fit life and wellness.

Turmeric Tea Against Body Pain

authoritynutrition.com
Most body pains you feel are due to inflammation, so you sometimes take ibuprofen, analgesic or aspirin. Anything that has "itis" (pronounced ay-tis) at the end of its name is painful (gengivitis, arthritis, sinusitis, etc.) and are caused by inflammation.

But a clinical finding published in the journal, Oncogene, showed that curcumin, the antioxidant found abundant in Turmeric, is among the most powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative phytochemicals in the world.

Turmeric being all-natural, it's lots safer to just drink turmeric tea than take anti-pain drugs. And the relief lasts longer.

It's easy to make turmeric tea. Peel a handful of turmeric roots (luyang dilaw in Tagalog), wash, and boil into a tea. Drink. As simple as that. A handful of turmeric costs about P15 or less. You can re-boil that bunch up to 5 times.

How does it taste? If you love green tea, you don't have any problem with turmeric tea. Best thing is, it has zero caffeine.

Just make sure your doctor approves of your turmeric tea consumption. That's SOP for any herbal supplement.

Here's a video on how to make turmeric tea.
