Why You Need Cucumbers If You're Diabetic

You're diabetic and you're wondering what food is good for you. Something you can eat when hungry though it's not yet meal time.

Something filling the stomach but does not give you more sugar.

Cucumber.

It's your best choice. First, it's easily available anywhere you are. Second, it's cheap. Third, it's easy to prepare---no cooking needed.

I love cucumbers even if not peeled. Just wash the skin thoroughly and then slice right away. Just keep it chilled. Anytime you feel hungry, just grab a few slices. Make sure to buy cucumbers with firm bodies, not those already soft. We need cucumbers with nutrition still intact.

And remove the seeds if possible.

Best of all, cucumbers have a type of hormone that pancreatic cells need to produce insulin. That's all-natural help for diabetics. Of course, this doesn't mean you can do away with your diabetes medication. Cucumbers can just help a bit and it's safer compared to other foods.

But go on with your medication as your doctor prescribes.
